| YamanakaThe Yamanaka A Clan primarily of Shinobi the Yamanaka own a Flower shop within the Village Hidden in the Future. They specialize in Mind related Techniques that make them adept at Intelligence gathering and espionage. Their unique telepathy based Jutsu also make them skilled sensor and support nin. Most members share blond toned hair which they traditionally wear in a fashion of a long ponytail. The Yamanaka share a special relationship with the Akimichi and Nara Clans.C-Rank Ability [Clan Yamanaka] Gain Yamanaka Hijutsu Focus (Ninjutsu), +2 to DC for Clan Hijutsu, +2 to Clan learning rolls The Yamanaka Clan were often overlooked in old Konoha. Their technique, while powerful was never conducive to the quick pace of battle, at least in the beginning. The Yamanaka Clan specializes in sensory techniques, and mind dominating Hijutsu. Yamanaka Sensing Technique Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: E Class: Supplementary Range: Self Cost: 2 Handseals: Technique Specific Yamanaka Seal Description: Yamanka Kanchi. Each sensory shinobi has their own special way of sensing another's presence. The Yamanaka Clan, with their special Hijutsu are generally as a rule excellent sensory shinobi. Their Hijutsu allows them to pinpoint consciousness near them. DF: +1d6 to spot Rolls for 1 round
Sensing Transmission Technique Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Short Range Cost: 3 Handseals: Technique Specific Yamanaka Seal Description: Another benefit of the Yamanaka Hijutsu, Their Kanchi Denden technique allows the user to directly transmit what they are sensing into the mind of whomever they are touching. It is a useful technique for both its covert use and information gathering. DF: May Reveal to one melee ranged target a hidden person the user has spotted during the current Hide attempt
Mind Body Switch Technique Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary Range: Short to Long Range Cost: 7 cp + 2 cp per round to maintain Handseals: Technique Specific Yamanaka Seal Description: Shintenshin no Jutsu is one of the Yamanaka's signature techniques. It is an exemplary supplementary technique and the basis for their Clan's Hijutsu. By projecting their spirits into another person they are capable of gaining control over their bodies and chakra network. However, as the user is casting their spirit into another form, and must maintain a link to their own find this jutsu problematic. As any harm that befalls the target of the jutsu also sympathetically transfers to the user. In addition the jutsu is slow to cast, and due to the gravity of moving ones soul should the jutsu miss it leaves the victim in a limbo state until their soul returns to their body. Most importantly is the absent body when the jutsu is engaged. While the user is in another body no one is in theirs, thus leaving it wide open. This can be lethal if the jutsu is used recklessly or without partners. DF: Single Target. On hit Target is stunned (Mental). Base Duration 1d2+1 rounds. User gains control over targets body. The users body is stunned and can not take action for the duration of the technique or until broken. Any damage the targets body receives the user receives. This damage ignores all hp dr but applies cp dr as though it were hp dr. If the user misses this jutsu they are stunned for the following turn. While within another body the user gains access to all that body’s natural or activated abilities (Provided they were already activated), In addition they gain access to the victims chakra pool. However as they mirror each other’s souls the user must still expend the same amount of chakra their targets body uses. Note: Although the user gains access to the bodies chakra pools, they do not gain access to the bodies jutsu. In addition they are restricted to jutsu of the bodies chakra nature.
Mind Body Disturbance Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Supplementary Range: Short to Mid Range Cost: 13 cp + 2 cp per round to maintain Handseals: Technique Specific Yamanaka Seal Description: Shinranshin no Jutsu is a derivative of Mind Body Switch. Unlike Mind Body Switch it does not project ones conscious, but ones chakra, programmed and shaped by the jutsu into their target. This makes it a powerful jutsu to used when one is outnumbered as it can quickly turn the tables on a individual. That being said the degree of control is lesser than its parent jutsu. This means the Yamanaka does not risk attempting to subvert the victims chakra else the jutsu end. In addition the body will continue performing all functions that reflexively keep it alive, such as breathing and maintaining chakra flow when moving over water. DF: Single Target, On hit Target is stunned (Mental). Base Duration 1d2+1 rounds. User gains control over targets body. User may direct the target to perform one physical task upon successful hit, the target will perform this task each turn for the duration of the jutsu. Tasks may be reassigned as a free action each round. The user may not command the target to actively expend any chakra they were not already expending.
Mind Clone Switch Technique Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Supplementary Range: Short to Long Range Cost: 17 cp + 2 cp to maintain Handseals: Snake-Ox-Tiger-Ram Description: Shinten Bunshin no Jutsu is a useful jutsu when executed with support of ones team. It allows the user to clone their consciousness and project it into their targets. Unlike its parent jutus this jutsu curves to follow their target, making it difficult to evade. However it still poses the same risks as the Mind Body Switch technique, doubly so, as both bodies will transmit sympathetically any harm done to the hosts. It is a powerful technique, but incredibly dangerous if done recklessly. DF: Two Targets. +2 vs Dodge. On hit Target is stunned (Mental). Base Duration 1d2+1 rounds. User gains control over targets body. The users body is stunned and can not take action for the duration of the technique or until broken. Any damage the targets body receives the user receives. Mind Disturbance Dance Performance Technique Type: Hijutsu Ninjutsu Rank: S Class: Offensive Range: Short to Mid Range Cost: 25 Cp + 2 cp to maintain Handseals: Technique Specific Yamanaka Seals Description: Shinran Enbu no Jutsu is the pinnacle of Yamanaka Hijutsu. The evolution of Mind Disturbance Technique the Mind Disturbance Dance allows the user to manipulate large numbers of enemy chakra to their control. Difficult to sense this technique is hard to block and its effects are swift. With this technique the Yamanaka is capable of swiftly turning enemy squads against one another. DF: Enemy AoE, +2 vs Blocking, On hit Target is stunned (Mental). Base Duration 1d2+1 rounds. User gains control over targets body. User may direct the target to perform one physical task upon successful hit, the target will perform this task each turn for the duration of the jutsu. Tasks may be reassigned as a free action each round. The user may not command the target to actively expend any chakra they were not already expending.
